Arrival Our tours usually start at Zurich Airport ZRH only. We can not handle different arrival locations on the same day for a tour. All participants of a tour need to arrive at the same location (airport) at about the same period of time. However, if all participants of a certain tour will arrive at another location (airports Geneva GVA or Basel BSL only) we can start the tour at this location, as an absolute exception. In general it is the tour participants responsibility to reach the location of our tour start in time. If it is impossible for you to fly to Zurich ZRH for some reason, we might pick you up as an exception at airports Geneva GVA or Basel BSL a day before our tour starts. This service by car is limited to about 4 people and a fee will apply. As another option you may travel on your own by train to Jui's Homestay, which is quite easy. Of course we will assist you in travelling preparations for this train journey.

Arrival time at Zurich Airport ZRH should be before 09:00 am on the day of the start of a tour. Arrivals between 09:00 am and 12:00 pm (noon) require some special arrangements by us, and might not be possible depending on the tour itinerary. Arrivals after 12:00 pm (noon) are only possible, if you will arrive the day before our tour starts. Therefore we recommend Thai Airways International (flight TG970), Qatar Airways (flight QR 093 from Doha DOH), Etihad Airways (flight EY073 from Abu Dhabi AUH) or Singapore Airlines (flight SQ346 from Singapore SIN). If your airline preferences are Swiss International Air Lines (flight LX181 from Bangkok BKK) or Emirate Airways flights EK087 / EK085 from Dubai DXB) you will have to arrive at least one day prior to our tour start. You will have to stay in a self-booked accommodatin near the airport on your expense. Departure Checkout for a given tour usually is always at the same time for all tour participants. On the last day of our tour arrangement, departure time at Zurich Airport ZRH should not be before 12:45pm. Normally we arrive at Zurich Airport at 10:15am. Departing flights in the morning may not be reached in time, and may require an aditional overnight stay at a hotel in or near Zurich airport on your own expense. Check our hotel recommendations here. Your hosts will take you to the airport of departure by train, which normally is Zurich Airport ZRH. We can not handle different departure locations on the same day for a given tour. Your luggage is taken by car to the airport, or in case you will stay a few days on your own in Switzerland, to your self-booked hotel (applies only for hotels in/near Zurich City, in the Bernese Oberland or along the route from our Homestay to Zurich airport. All other points of departure and/or onward journeys you need to handle by yourselves. Of course we will support you for your onward journey after our tour came to its end. We may organise train tickets to other European destinations in the neighbouring countries, or special train journeys within Switzerland. But we don't organise flight tiscktes. |
